About these terms

These terms apply when you use InvoicingPortal, provided by [Company legal name] ("we", "us"). By creating an account you agree to them. Please also read our Privacy policy.

Your account

• You must be 18 or over and give accurate details when you sign up.
• Each account is for one person. Keep your password private. You're responsible for activity on your account.
• Tell us straight away at [support email] if you think someone else has accessed your account.

Using the service

• New accounts are free for the first 3 months from the date you sign up. No payment details are needed during this time.
• Before your free period ends, we'll email you about our plans and prices. If you don't subscribe, your access to the portal ends when the free period finishes. The same applies when a paid plan ends and isn't renewed.
• When access ends, your records are kept. You can still sign in to download a copy, or subscribe to carry on where you left off. You won't be charged unless you agree to a paid plan.
• Don't use the service for anything unlawful, to send unsolicited emails, or to store patient or service-user identifiable information.
• Don't try to access other users' data, interfere with the service, or probe it for weaknesses without our permission.

Your content

You own the information you add. You give us permission to store and process it only so we can run the service for you. You're responsible for the accuracy of invoices, tax figures and other records you create. The portal is a record-keeping tool, not financial, tax or legal advice.

Availability

We work to keep the service available and your data backed up, but we can't promise it will always be uninterrupted or error-free. Keep your own copies of important records. You can download reports from the portal at any time.

Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud. Otherwise, we aren't liable for indirect losses or for loss of profit, income or business, and our total liability to you is limited to [£ amount].

Ending your account

You can stop using the service and ask us to delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms, and will tell you why where we can.

Changes and governing law

We may update these terms. We'll give you notice of significant changes. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction.
